Upcoming Events
Friday, Jan 27 Pinewood Derby, MSS Cafe, 7pm - 9:30pm New Place: MSS Cafeteria Doors Open: 7:00PM Targeted Time Slots:
Since we have a large number of racers, it is very important for you to arrive at least 15 minutes early for your Den’s time slot to accommodate for final check in. Parents and Scouts, please review the attached Pinewood Derby Rules. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Glatz at (847) 726-8828 or e-mail him at: mglatz5124@gmail.com. Sunday, Jan 29 Pack239 Ski Trip, Wilmot Mountain, 9:30am - 11:00pm We will be skiing at Wilmot Mountain http://www.wilmotmountain.com/ again this year on Sunday January 29th. (Currently they have a 12”-24” base) The cost this year will be: $33 Lift Ticket, (includes a ski lesson if you choose) $43 Lift Ticket / Ski Rental / Lesson, (you will also need a $10 deposit for equipment, it’s returned to you once you return all of your equipment) $53 Lift Ticket / Snow Board Rental / Lesson, (you will also need a $10 deposit for equipment, it’s returned to you once you return all of your equipment) Also available are Helmet Rentals for an additional charge of $10, (you will also need a $10 deposit for equipment, it’s returned to you once you return all of your equipment) Wilmot Mountain does an online registration for all lift tickets and your equipment needs, please sign yourself and your child up at https://www.shopwilmotmountain.com/waivers/CartShow.aspx. This allows them the ability to pre-print lift tickets and to have all of our equipment ready when we arrive save a lot of time. In addition to signing up online, I need everyone to please fill out the attached spreadsheet and email (or print and return with your check) it back to me, so I can keep track of all attendees. Please bring a check for your total amount, including deposits, to the Pack meeting on Jan. 17th. However cut off for sign-up is January 25th. I’m also looking for another volunteer that isn’t planning on skiing, and wouldn’t mind sitting in the lodge as a “Base Contact Point” for all skiers in the case of emergency and whatnot.
