Policies
The
following policies are in place.
If
you have any questions, suggestions or requests the committee meeting is the
place to raise them.

Subsidized
den achievement events
o All
den leaders should approach the committee for any event focused on an
advancement/achievement they would like monetary assistance with
o
Limit of one activity per
den per year
o Submit
request to committee for review
o
Decisions will be made on a
case by case basis
·
Perfect
Attendance award
o
Boys will not be counted
absent if attending a school sponsored events (such as orchestra concerts);
brothers will also be included
o
Discussion of excusing for
Religious events and other family events (i.e. funerals) – all situations such
as this will need to be brought to the committee for a decision and vote
·
Pack email
policy
o
All informational emails
should be consolidated into a single monthly email to the pack or den leaders
whenever possible
o
Activity reminders may be
sent individually by the activity coordinator
o
All pack wide communications
should be sent by and/or approved by the committee chair or secretary
o
Den leader specific emails
can be sent as needed by the Den Leader
o
Popcorn selling information
may be sent by the Popcorn Kernel

Belt Loop achievements and
Sports/Academics Pins
o
Belt loop will be purchased
by pack
o
To earn pins requires
completion of Belt Loop achievements (see Academics and Sports Program Guide)
o
Pins will not be purchased
by the pack; individual can purchase “letter” and pins
o
Will not be presented at
pack meeting
